SRF Area F2 Improvements Project

General Notice. City of Panama City (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: PC23-046 SRF Area F2 (Dewberry Engineers Project No. 50153260).

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received electronically at the City of Panama City Purchasing Division located at 501 Harrison Avenue, Room 238, Panama City, FL 32401, until Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. CT. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read in Room 10 by the Selection Committee, who will evaluate the bids to ensure responsiveness and will make a recommendation of award.

The Project includes the following Work: The SRF Area F2 infrastructure improvements project is located in the Venetian Villas area of Panama City Florida. This project involves the replacement of approximately 5,150 linear feet (LF) of existing asphalt roadway and curb, gravity sewer mains, and potable water mains along Calabria Road, Valencia Court, Milano Road, Torino Way, and Napoli Road. The project also involves the construction of a new duplex wastewater lift station, 2,100 LF of new force main, 4,800 LF of new concrete sidewalk, stormwater pipe replacements, and associated miscellaneous site and demolition work.

The Project has an expected duration of 360 days.

Non-Mandatory Pre-bid Conference. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. CT in Room 10 of City Hall located at 501 Harrison Avenue, Panama City, FL 32401. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is the City of Panama City. Prospective Bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office by emailing purchasing@panamacity.gov or in person at City of Panama City Purchasing Division, Room 238, 501 Harrison Avenue, Panama City, FL 32401, Phone number 850.872.3070.

Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing office. Addenda, if any will be emailed to plan holders and will be available in a pdf format on the Bonfire Portal: https://panamacity.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=openOpportunities and the City of Panama City’s website: https://www.panamacity.gov/bids/aspx.
