NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING

The City Council of the City of Mexico Beach will hold a Public Hearing to consider approval of the following entitled ordinances:

Ordinance 808

AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PARCEL OF PROPERTY ASSIGNED A PARCEL ID NO. 04186-000-000, MEXICO BEACH, FLORIDA, HAVING

APPROXIMATELY 80 ACRES, PUBLIC/INSTITUTIONAL PROVIDING FOR A REPEALER, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE CITY TO REFLECT A LAND USE DESIGNATION OF PUBLIC/INSTITUTIONAL FOR A PARCEL OF PROPERTY ASSIGNED A PARCEL ID NO. 04127-010-000, MEXICO BEACH, FLORIDA, HAVING APPROXIMATELY 24.70 ACRES, PROVIDING FOR A REPEALER, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PARCEL OF PROPERTY ASSIGNED A PARCEL ID NO. 04127-010-000, MEXICO BEACH, FLORIDA, HAVING APPROXIMATELY 24.70 ACRES, PUBLIC/INSTITUTIONAL PROVIDING FOR A REPEALER, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

A public hearing on the ordinance will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 9:00 am or as soon thereafter as may be heard, at the City Council meeting at the Mexico Beach Public Works Building located at 114 N. 22nd Street, Mexico Beach FL 32456. All interested persons are encouraged to attend and be heard. During the public hearing the ordinance will be presented to the Council for adoption. The ordinance may be adopted during or immediately after the public hearing.

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to any matter considered at the meeting, if an appeal is available, such person will need a record of the proceeding, and such person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
