Advertisement for Continuing Contract for General Construction for Bay District Schools

Bay District Schools is extending an invitation to all currently pre-qualified General Contractors to submit a bid to perform all work associated with the construction of:

Continuing Contract for General Construction for Bay District Schools

Bidders are requested to submit unit costs for items listed on the Unit Price Sheet. Three to five contractors will be selected based on evaluation of the unit price form. Subsequent contract awards will be based on individual pricing and prior performance of selected bidders. The continuing contract is for one year and may be extended for up to 5 one-year terms with the consent of both parties.

Contractors and subcontractors will be required to meet all current Bay District School’s background screening and badging requirements and be pre-approved by the District.

Project Manual and Unit Price Sheet in PDF and Excel will be available from JRA Architects, Inc., Amy Moore, amoore@jra-arch.net.

Bidders shall direct all questions to Architect within seven days of the bid date.

Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid: April 20, 2023, at 1:00 CST at the Board Meeting Room at the Nelson Building, 1311 Balboa Avenue, Panama City, Fl. 32401.

Unit Price Bids In duplicate will be received in The Board Meeting Room of the Nelson Administrative Building, 1311 Balboa Avenue, Panama City, Fl. 32401, by 2:00 p.m. central time on May 2, 2023, and will be read aloud at this time. Proposals will be presented to the Owner for acceptance or rejection.

All bids shall be submitted in an envelope clearly marked “Sealed Bid-Bay District School Board: Continuing Contract for General Construction for Bay District Schools.”
